Forest Lake Maroon & Gold Arena

The Maroon and Gold Ice Arena is located at 832 SW 4th Street in Forest Lake, MN.  The Maroon and Gold Ice Arena was originally constructed in 1979 for the Forest Lake Rangers Boys high school hockey team.  The building was converted from a natural ice facility, to an artificial facility in 1983-1984.  The current building totals 30,000 square feet, located on 3.8 acres next to Forest Lake Elementary School.  The building is not used during the months of April - August when the weather is too warm to support the ice sheet.

Today, the Forest Lake Maroon & Gold building still exists, but ice is no longer created within the 1979 erected structure. The city of Forest Lake utilizes the building solely for District 831 - Forest Lake Public Maintenance for offices and storage.
